What is Dry Needling?
The logic behind dry needling is stimulating superﬁcial nerves to reduce pain. Acupuncture needles are inserted into skin not deeper than subcutaneous tissue.
Where Do We Use Dry Needling?
We utilise this method frequently in the treatment of myofascial trigger points originating from muscles, tendons and ligaments, and chronic soft tissue pain. Examples of areas of application are are spinal muscles, ITB soreness/stiﬀness, and other muscle pains.
